Question: Discuss the HR Plan of the organization. Answer: 1.0 Introduction In this assignment the researcher has discussed the HR Plan of the organization. In the HR plan, the stakeholders policy and the induction plan is explained by the researcher. The job description of the employees in the organization and the function of the facility manager are also analyzed by the researcher. The selection strategy is also analyzed by the researcher. 2.0 HR Plan A HR Plan helps ABC aged cares services to meet its future requirements. The stakeholders and the shareholders also take part in preparing the HR plan of the organization. The main motive of the HR plan of the organization is to meet the objectives. Key stakeholders of the organization are employees and customers of the organization. The employees of the organization contribute a huge amount for the development of the organization (Eamer 2014). The customers of the organization are also another key stakeholder of the organization. Recruitment and selection is also another important part of the HR plan. The recruitment process is essential for the organization because the selection of proper personnel is important. Employees are selected by the organization through a proper procedure. In this procedure, the qualification and experience of the employees are properly identified. ABC Aged care services also takes help of outsourcing recruitment strategies to recruit new employees (Hrtel and Fujimoto 2015). The organization has also introduced an induction plan. In this induction plan the employees will know about the leaves and other facilities which will be provided by the organization. 2.1 Job description of the employees and manager The employees in the organization are responsible for looking after the well-being of the aged persons in the organization. They will take care of the aged person by providing them food and medicines. The employees will also enquire whether the aged person is feeling happy in the center. Prior to admission of an elderly person into the aged care centre employees make sure that a physiological test is conducted. The employees counsel the elderly person before they are admitted in the organization. Counselling has helped the aged person to spend a peaceful life in the center (Loughlin et al. 2013). Additionally, the employees aim at making the lives of the older people more comfortable and healthy. . The employees in the organization also look after the safety of the individuals in the ABC aged care home services. The facility manager looks after the overall activities of the employees in the organization. The manager monitors the activities of the employees in the organization. The manager also interacts with the employees to know if they are facing any problem or not. The manager also looks after the overall care for the elderly persons. To enable smooth running of all operations at the center the facility manager also looks after the training of the employees. Training will help the individuals to uplift the performance of the individuals. According to Nankervis (2012), facility manager of ABC aged care service is involved with an everyday activity in the organization. The facility manager divides the employees into small team of 8 each. These teams carry out the day to day activity of the center. The facility manager also looks after the total security of the employees and clients in the center. Maintenance is also another important job role of the facility manager. The facility manager finalizes contracts with different vendors who supply food and medicines to the aged care services. Facility manager in ABC aged cares service also looks after the operational cost in the organization. Resources like electricity and water are optimally allocated in the premises of the organization and facility manager keep a thorough watch on it. 2.2 Advertising policy The recruitment policy in ABC Aged care services is done through the legal process. The job advertisement is given through the national newspaper. The organization does not give importance to race or color of the individual. Recruitment is done purely on the educational qualification and experience of the individual. The interview process in the organization is done maintaining all the legal rules and regulation. Equal opportunity is given to all the candidates who appear for the interview process (Nembhard and Bentefouet 2014). In the advertisement, the job role and job specification of the post are clearly mentioned. The candidates have to apply within 10 days from the date of advertisement. The details of the recruitment process are also given in the newspapers. All these activities do not hamper the legal laws and regulation of the organization. 2.3 Selection policy The selection process is involved in placing the right people in the right job. Selection of the candidate is mainly done through a recruitment procedure. The first stage of the selection strategy includes a preliminary interview. The educational qualification and the experience of the candidates are checked at this stage. The candidates who do not meet the criteria are rejected. In this preliminary interview, some basic questions are asked. The basic questions include the family background and the interest of the candidate. The candidates who qualify in this round are eligible for the written test round. The written test is mainly composed of aptitude test.. In this aptitude test general intelligence of the candidate is evaluated. The candidates who are successful are called for an employment interview (Petty 2015). In this employment interview, the interviewer judges the knowledge and experience of the candidate by asking different questions. Selected candidates have to pass throug h medical examination test. On successful completion of the medical examination the candidates are given their appointment letter. In the appointment letter, the salary of the candidate and other terms and condition are given. The candidates have to pass through a probation period for 6 months. On successful completion of their probation period the candidates are confirmed. 3.0 Conclusion The researcher has discussed the HR plan of the ABC Aged care services. In the HR plan the induction policy of the organization is discussed. The leave policy and benefits of the candidate are explained in the plan. The employees in the organization also look after the well-being of the aged persons in the organization. The facility manager looks after the overall activities of the organization.
